The Search for Hay

It has been an unsual year  for  of a lack of feed for livestock.
Too little rain early in the season and too much rain when the hay crops were in swath add up to high prices for hay that is in poor condition.

It was a good  that I managed to get 35 bales by cutting local ditches.

These photos are bales that I bought in august 2015 but were made in summer 2014.
